The Hanna Recreation Center is a hub of Hanna life. On the inside enjoy the Olympic Sized Swimming Pool. A kiddie pool is available beside the large pool. Facilities are available for raquetball, and basketball as well. The building also has a weight and exercise room to help you keep fit.

The Rec Center has a playground outside, and a skateboard area with several halfpipe sections.

The grounds also host one of the only three Rotary Snowplow Locomotives of its kind in the world. A Rotary Snowplow Locomotive is a piece of railroad snow fighting equipment. It is characterized by the large circular set of blades on its front end that rotate as a unit to cut through the snow on the track ahead of it.

One of the three miners monuments is also located on premises. The monument is made of marble and lists all the miners lost in the Carbon and Hanna mines.
